What is Affidavit Attestation?
Affidavit attestation is the legal verification process that authenticates sworn statements for international use. Foreign authorities require attested affidavits to confirm their legitimacy before accepting them for visa applications, employment, immigration, or legal proceedings.
The process involves multi-level authentication by government departments including notary, Home Department, State HRD, Ministry of External Affairs, and the destination country’s embassy (or apostille for Hague Convention countries).
